ecolagbohrsac2021 Instruments [2023, AI/SCULPTURE]

A series of sculptural sonic artifacts, forged in the interstices of speculative history, cybernetic folklore, and hyperstitional myth-making—each an invocation, a ritual tool, a hyper-real hallucination designed to summon sound from alternate dimensions.

Created by ENGLAND’S COUNCIL OF LEGISLATION AND GOVERNING BODY OF HYPER REAL SIMULATIONS AND CONSTRUCTS [a.k.a ecolagbohrsac2021], in collaboration with Simon Kounovsky (@axonbody), Razornailz (@razornailz), and OpenAI’s early artist program, these instruments function not only as physical sculptural objects but as feedback loops in the composition of the 2023 album EUPHORIA (Most Dismal Swamp).

Their forms were initially conjured in a machine-learning hallucination, fragments generated through OpenAI’s DALL·E 2, before being reconstructed and given tangible existence via 3D printing and digital sculpting. This recursive process of AI-generated imagination, physical realization, and sonic reintegration creates a hallucinatory feedback mechanism, where the material existence of the instrument feeds directly into the musical compositions it inspires—an ouroboros of synthetic folklore, speculative sound design, and physical resonance.

According to the lore;
These artifacts were excavated from the swamps of Crystal Palace in 2186, their original materials comprising the shattered relics of Tyaa Gn Liu’s matte-purple Lamborghini Aventador, infused with spectral polymers and data-etched runes from lost DAW sessions. Each functions as a portal, a MIDI-chord pack sequencer of draconic origins, pulling hyperspace trance-core melodies from non-linear timelines, channeling echoes of medieval gabber, spectral matrixcore, and necro-industrial bardic hymns from the clubs of alternate Londons.


Among the instruments:

  • The Wail of the Banshee Lute: A medieval-futurist artifact that translates the cries of ghosts into sonic textures, each note a lament for forgotten realities. Favored by Reality-Check Hardstyle Bards in the deep-synthechemia circuits of EUPHORIA.
  • The Memetic-Bloodtear Hyper-Jukebox: A self-perpetuating MIDI entity, an infinite feedback system where harmonic structures are constructed from the recursive sampling of the artist’s own unconscious echoes.
  • The Daimonic Synth Harp: Capable of transmitting deep-fried Digital Middle Age hyperblackmetalpop, its strums invoke the crystalline euphoria of South London funfair rides across ancient mires.

Across centuries, cryptographic archives and DarkNet pages have recorded scattered references to these instruments, many noting that early versions were sculpted from slime and glowstyx, bathed in luminescent mud beneath a 404 moon.
